      Ford Escape 2014 Air Filter

      I first went and bought the Fram Filter from a local store. No matter how I tried, I couldn't make it fit. I ordered the Motorcraft, it was cheaper and fit like a charm. Great price and free shipping!

      OEM is the best.

      This is the one you should use if its original to your car. It's tricky to install but that is beside the point.

      Poor design!

      The locator tab on the edge of this filter has to be in perfect alignment with the filter housing notch or the filter WILL NOT SEAT! In placing the filter the housing notch is impossible to see, making what should be a simple air filter installation a nightmare. This filter will soon be replaced by a Fram which does not have the locator tab.
