    Does get the job done!

    Little work to set it, must put in ground right at edge of firing trap, not bad idea to fire once or twice to pierce holes, but it will get moles.

    I would not buy this if I had kids or pets that play in the vicinity. Its ugly and dangerous!

    This trap has potential. It can be set above an expected location where a gopher has broken the surface, and if he (or she) returns, this trap, properly set, may do the trick. I am 90 years old and have not the strength to set this trap. It appears fearsome, Were I a gopher I would leave a yard where this trap is present! More likely of use for Gophers and /or Moles that travel in burrows close to the surface.Find a shallow burrow that's used and set the trap. Your cats and dogs or lkids could be maimed if they knocked this out of ground and were spiked by it. Ugly in the yard and dangerous to kids playing in the vicinity.

    OK quality, hard to set, no success yet.

    Used it for 2 weeks on several tunnels and have yet to get a single mole. It deployed on two occasions yet no mole. It is difficult to set, especially if you have hand injury issues. I hope it works someday, but as of now, I am not thrilled with the results.

    Caveat Emptor

    Good instructions on how to use this product would add to its value. I bought it because I have a mole problem and I saw something like this trap in my grandparent's smokehouse about 50 years ago. I have had no luck with it but finally found a good instructional video on YouTube and hopefully have the trap properly set now. We'll see. For the price of the trap I shouldn't have had to expend this much effort to learn how to use it.

    Waste of time

    Very hard to set, no need to worry about finding hair trigger spot, it is very time consuming to set and not trip in your hands. used 3 weeks and no kills yet. If you are going to waste your time with one like this, shop a bit, they are on Ebay cheaper than this one. I am hard headed, 20.00 plastic one at Lowes broke after 3 tries. Now this one and moles are laughing !!!
