    Rimfire Conversion Kit for a 1911

    I purchased this Sig Sauer conversion kit so my spouse could learn to shoot a 1911 with the kick of a .22 caliber. The kit arrived, well packed and converted easily on my Springfield Armory Mil-spec 1911. Although no mention was made, the conversion kit comes ready for a series 80 1911. My 1911 is a series 70. The extra part (a release pin on the bolt was removed along with the tension spring) and the pistol performed flawlessly. Fired 150 rounds with one bad round that FTE. I am very impressed with this unit, my spouse can shoot comfortably, without the .45 caliber recoil. I highly recommend this kit, and the time and money was well spent.

    Awesome Conversion

    This kit works great!. There is an adapter available to add threads to the barrel. Mine works with almost every ammo i have run through it. Even several subsonic ones. This kit is complete...comes with everything you need. Including diffrent height front sights to get you right where you need to be. One note: On guns that do not have the firing pin block. You will have to remove the block from the slide. Easy to do...took me about 15 minutes. So...if you want a 22 conversion for your 45. This is the one you want. Thanks Eddie

    Sig Sauer .22 conversion kit

    Very nice quality, and good value. Price range on web is all over the board so shop around. Instruction sheet is OK, kit includes firing pin blocks for series 80 and 90 guns there are no directions for installing them. Shipping was quick and it arrived in perfect shape.     Good upper

    The upper is well made and is easy to install. I wish they would have said that it will only shoot ammo with a high fps. I found out it will only shoot 22lr with 1400 fps and higher.

    Excellent Conversion

    This is the second of these conversions I have bought, the first I got directly from Sig. This one performs as flawlessly as the first. Only drawback, Sig has stopped marketing this conversion and there is no parts availability.
