    Parts replacement or full build.

    Make sure to get the made in USA kit. All the parts are well made and the main gear has cleaner cuts compared to the China kits. This kit does come with the black oxide direction lever and main cover, neither of which I used since I only needed the main gear. The pawl is also different than my original however i did try fit and function for all parts and they seem to work good. The bearing ball in the QR main gear 1/4” head is smaller than the one on my 1980s 43175. So my 1980s sockets are a little loose when connected. This head design seems to work better with newer craftsman sockets made past the 90s. Overall it's still good. Love being able to keep my vintage USA made ratchets.
