    G1 Bumblebee reissue

    This is the Walmart reissue of g1 Bumblebee. I mean it’s a cool figure for your g1 collection. While he’s small and has very little articulation, it was just an 80s. But what’s different this time is that now he has a new face resembling more like he did in the cartoon. One small issue I had ( at least with mine) is that the right foot seems to be detachable. It’s still sturdy, it if you pull too hard during transformation, it will come off, but you can put it back on and like I said, still sturdy. Also you really have to push on one of the arms to come out. One of them was a bit stiff. But other than that it’s still good for a small price.

    Nostalgia heaven!!

    This product is EXACTLY like the one I had as a child (with a few added details) and my 3 year old son loves it too! The toy is stiff at first but eventually loosens up after use and you have to teach your kid how to squeeze the front end of the hood when pulling the legs down so he/she doesn’t pull off that part. Other than that, the nostalgic value here is immeasurable, even the original graphics and info about the toy are on the packaging (which were all wrong as the cartoon narrative developed and was part of the appeal) ENJOY!

    Childhood revisited.

    I grew up in the 80s when Transformers was king. All of my friends and I spent hours playing with Starscream, Soundwave, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee among many others. Seeing Walmart bring these 1st Generation Transformers back has been an immensely nostalgic treat for me. I would recommend buying two, one for playing with and another to display in it's packaging.
