It's a 12 volt pump with a power adapter, making it easy to run low voltage around the sink area. I wasn't making half a hopper of ice before this (fridge ice maker). That was at 40 psi to the house. After installing this boost pump on the RO system I now have 70 psi of water pressure out of the RO. I am making 3 plus hoppers of ice a day, the cubes are twice as large. I also HALVED the amount of reject water!!
