The tone is actually the same perhaps slightly better. It's unbelievable! I'm a professional musician and have much experience with strats and have purchased some boutique and modern fender pickups in the past. All I can say: This guy is the holy grail.

Haven't installed them yet, but soldering, fit etc looks good and they feel like they are made from high quality, rugged components. The customer service alone is worth more than most pickups out there anyway. Jobe Jude is quick to respond and thoughtful in his correspondence. I look forward to installing his pups on my build and will post an updated review as soon as I do.
