    As a pro silver polisher, Tarnex should ONLY be used for a few seconds on darkened silver. It works, but it can scratch. I use it for sterling silver jewlery. A small amount in a cup, drop in jewlery, swoosh a few seconds and then rinse in warm soapy water. Discard used tarnex immediately. The original horrible smell remains so no one will want to consume it. Then I use Tiffany and co silver spray, wipe and brand new. Arrived ahead of even tracking.

    Best for non-ornate items.

    It doesn't work very well in nooks and crannies of silver jewelry. I didn't know you couldn't dip a piece if it contained porous material such as turquoise and red coral, so I had to try to use a q-tip which didn't fit into the nooks and crannies. Perhaps I will try again with pointy toothpicks. My expectations of this product were simply too great. I had a tarn x product of some sort many years ago which when dipped into, removed the tarnish without having to rub or scrub the item. It was like magic. There was probably something deadly in it that had to be removed... LOL.

    Tarnish takes time....Tarn X removes tarnish in an instant!

    For cleaning everyday silver there is none better. It is important to dispose of it in solid waste (trash) and not pour down sink. Also if you pour it in a tray to do all the everyday silverware you can capture the used Tarn X to use again on stubborn tarnish before using fresh Tarn X. Make it last and give a hoot don't pollute by pouring all the once used Tarn X down the drain. Use paper towels to use again and put in with paper trash.

    Great Silver Cleaner

    This is one of the best products on the market to clean tarnished silver. I use it all the time on old silver coins and jewelry I find. I metal detect so I find a lot of tarnished coins and jewelry, so I put them in this and it does not harm them. Try it you won't be disappointed. .

    Best Silver Polish!

    This silver polish formula is the best I've tried. It works quickly, polishes very brightly, and don't have to use a lot for the job. This is what seems to be a watery consistentcy, not like the white creamy polish, but I prefer this type of polish because it works fast and is not messy. You won't go wrong with this polish! Good buy and bargain!
