I like everything about the product. It was exactly what I wanted. I had a simular model, but it was a trv-58 and this one was a trv-98. mine broke and I didn't have time to get it fixed before christmas. I looked at new models at various store, but found nothing that I wanted. So off to ebay I went. I knew I wanted a sony product, it had to have regular buttons, not soft touch. I wanted a hi-8mm so my old tapes would be compatible. This product seemed to be what I was looking for. I asked the seller a couple questions (they were very helpful) and I decided this is the one I wanted. When it came, I was ecstatic! It was better than my old one! It had a better zoom and all the buttons were the same & in the same place. It was like my old one only better!!!!! The best part about it is that my battery, charger and all my cables are compatible with this model. So I got exactly what I wanted, at a very good price. I love it and was so happy to have it to video tape my 5 year old on Christmas day. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is in the market to purchase a camcorder. I is simple to use as a camcorder or for playback. It has a nice sized digital screen, that you can put in various positions, for viewing what you are taping or have already taped. The zoom is amazing. you can record using the battery or from an electric outlet. You can add titles and the date if you choose, with little or no difficulty. It is a nice size it is not one of the newer extremely small ones, but it is not a monster sized one either. I love everthing about it and it works like a new one. I liked my old one, but I love this one. In short it is perfect!!! It is probably the best product I have purchased on-line ever!!!!!!!!!! This camera came from an excellent home. It has worked fabulous right out of the box. My family videos have no lines running through them, no snow flakes floating around. My 30 year old 8mm, analog videos are perfect for turning into my family masterpieces.
