I used to play the original Sims. I liked it very much, but after a while it got a little boring. I noticed when they came out with the Sims expansions packs that you could do so much more. Like being able to leave the house, new items to buy, and new careers. But spending twenty or more bucks on each one was a little too much for me. When I saw the Sims Complete Collection for PC included all seven expansion packs in one, I had to get it. I saw that brand new, it would cost about $40. So I went straight to Ebay and got it brand new for $26. I have been playing it for about an hour or so a day, and I haven't gotten tired of it yet! You can do things like invite someone to hang out downtown with you, go on a vacation, and cast spells on other Sims. My only complaint is sometimes the sound goes out in different areas. Like sometimes you can't hear yourself talk, or you can't hear other people. One time, I couldn't use any of the sinks in my house. Anytime something goes wrong, and doesn't fix by restarting it, I just reinstall the whole game. My house and my Sim are still there when I reinstall it, so no worry about losing all my hard work. :) Overall, this is a great game!Read full review
it is the first sims game. with all expansions there is really nothing that can be said about it that hasnt already been said in the last 20 years. BUT this game is not 100% compatible with modern windows operating systems out of the box.. if anyone out there is haveing the same problem i did, its because new windows is not compatible with the old school DRM (piracy protection) that the sims used. (DISC checks will basically always fail and the game will never launch). there was a fix, i had to find a new version of the sims EXE file that bypasses the DISC check and swap it out with the sims exe file that installed with the rest of the program files. after that the game ran perfectly.

I was recently watching a lot of YouTube, came a cross a streamer who was playing the original Sims game, and I just had to have it. I grew up playing the GameCube port of this game. As good as that was, it doesnāt do it justice. I was always a huge fan of the SimCity series as well, so you really canāt go wrong with this. Just make sure you look for a really good deal, brand new ones are expensive.

I found out about this bundle on black friday (the friday right after thanksgiving) on Best Buy's website. I used to own The Sims and 2 expansions a long time ago (around their release time) but I sold them on eBay because I don't have time to play, plus I don't want to wait for another expansion to be issued. This game is a GREAT DEAL! $40-$50 for the original game + all 7 expansions. Back then, each expansion costs at least $40 when it's just released. Game-play-wise, The Sims is just as exciting as it was back then and now. You still do the same thing also, make a person or a family, build them a proper house (with all the fancy stuff and a nice yard), then make them earn their living! With all the expansions, The Sims has broaden the possibility of what could happen in your Sim family's life. You can choose to be a normal person (go to work, get home, interact with your family/friends), a magical person, or even become a celebrity! I haven't tried everything due to the holiday time, but I'm sure I'm going to L-O-V-E this game all over again! p.s. This game includes The Sims Creator, the official software where you make your "self-made" Sims. Yep, you design the face, the body, and the clothing! You're not stuck anymore with only the Sim-people the game offer :)Read full review
The Sims 2 is my first Sims game, but I never tried the original Sims game. Therefore, I purchased it for my collection. Although it is not suitable with the modern system, it solved by searching for solutions from the Sims community. It is good for anyone who buys for the collection or doesn't want to pirate the game.

I bought it because my friend loaned me the original sims game and i wanted all the upgrades to download extra stuff. I like the graphics and the interactions, and i like layouts of houses. I live my inner designer :) I wish that the sims learned more about each other and remember topics and interactions more. The game takes a long time to load on my XP computer, but gives good play once loaded. So many things are happening at once that it takes a minute to learn to optimize sims interactions.
The greatest of all of the original Sims games. It has every expansion pack. On this game, you can go on vacation, become a magician and even become a superstar. I enjoy working with chemicals on it even though the cop arrives sometimes and fines me $500.00. I also enjoy using the Voodoo doll on it. You can use it on adults who live in your house or adults who are visiting. But be aware. Sometimes when you use the Voodoo doll, your victim will slap you. The original Sims that came out in 2000 can get boring pretty fast but not the Sims Complete Collection. This game is excellent.
What a great way to get lost in the world of SimCity! The original Sims Complete Collection offers hours of fun! Create your own special Sims by way of gender and biography, then "go to town" by selecting a home to move into -- or create your own home! You can make friends, take them out on dates, on vacation, buy pets -- the choice is up to you! I bought the original game years ago and got so into it, I lost track of time. The game is rated "T" for "Teens" for some adult content, but it was worth every penny! Now my brother's wife has it, and she can't get enough of it.
We've always loved the complete series. As an adult now lol...it was a good nostalgic purchase. You see the age of the disc but that's understandable. It's working great. It doesn't have serial keys but you can find that anywhere. Ahh...such a great old game. Glad to have bought it š

Like many others, I first purchased The Sims, way back when it first came out. I dutifully collected every expansion, but unfortunately, I lost (or broke) many of the discs. When I heard of The Sims Complete, which has every expansion and The Sims 1 game in it, I was overjoyed! I immediately purchased it. The Sims Complete follows the basic formula of The Sims: create a family, raise a family, live as the family. You can either lead them to high-rolling success, to suburban happiness, to slumlike misery, or even death. The Sims 1 is far superior to The Sims 2 and The Sims 3, as it allows much more freedom of choice, has much less lag/glitches, and has far more items and things to do (with all the expansions). The only good thing The Sims 2/3 have that The Sims 1 doesn't is sim aging: babies will grow to children, children to adults, but adults never die of old age. However, this is easily overlooked when compared to the myriad of things The Sims has for the player to do. All-in-all, this is a masterpiece of a game, one of the greatest of all time. I reccomend getting The Sims Complete to everyone, even if you've never played a sim game before. It'll be an incredible first experience! The Sims Complete is available on websites such as Ebay, Best Buy, and in a few stores like Gamestop or pawn shops. It is not available in retail stores like Wal-Mart.Read full review
