I like this CD. It KISS without all they're amps, make-up, etc. It's just them playing guitar, singing, and playing the drums. They are very mellow in this CD and it's a timeless classic. It features KISS members, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Bruce Kulick, Peter Criss, and Eric Singer. The tracks on this CD are: 1. Comin' Home - I never heard this until this CD and after listening to the original. This version of it sounds much better. 2. Plaster Caster - I am not a fan of this song but I enjoyed this version of it very much. 3. Goin' Blind - Did not care for this version of the song as it didn't sound as up beat as the original version was but it is still good nonetheless. 4. Do You Love Me - Like the original version this song is great. 5. Domino - Gene sings this song very well and it sounds almost like the original. 6. Sure Know Something - Again sounds like the original but the original is better. 7. A World Without Heroes - Lets face it "The Elder" was one of KISS' biggest flops and I wasn't much of a fan of it when it came out. But this version is much better than the original. 8. Rock Bottom - Never heard this song 'til now and it's a great version of it. 9. See You Tonight - Never heard this song either and it's an okay song, but not my favorite. 10. I Still Love You - This version was okay but when Paul holds part of the chorus for a long time I got annoyed. 11. Every Time I Look At You - This version does not sound too different than the original and it's still a great song. 12. 2,00 Man - Enter Ace Frehley and Peter Criss into the CD! What is there to say about Ace? Well he sings the song perfectly and this version is about as good as the original. 13. Beth - Peter Criss finally sings this song with the recorded orchestra version that he normally plays live (if I remember this right) and this time it's just the guys playing guitar. Nonetheless, it's great. But the original sounds better. 14. Nothin' To Lose - This song is great and to have Gene, Paul, Peter, Ace, Bruce, and Eric sing it all together is really good. 15. Rock And Roll All Nite - This is a pretty upbeat song let's face it. But the fact that it's played unplugged is awesome. And Gene for once, does not sing the song by himself, Gene, Ace, Peter, sing parts of the song as well and it makes the song much more enjoyable.Read full review
The concert was before the age of digital video recording, it would have been great if it was, but it was still a good quality video. The sound is very good coming thru my surround sound system.

This was a great deal on an almost non existent dvd. Great soung and picture. Thanx a million! I have been looking for this DVD for 4 years and did not want to pay 90.00 for it everywhere else. I have heard a lot of good things about e-bay and checked it out, sure enough, I finally purchased something and walked away knowing I got a good deal. $8.50, cant beat it!!
This a excellent Cd recorded in 1996 with some acoustic renditions of the bands classic hits such as "Rock Bottom","Plaster Caster" and 12 others. Near the end of the album the two former KISS members Ace Frehley and Peter Chriss join in on the fun and jam with the other band mates on stage. The songs "Nothing to lose" and "Rock and Roll all night" are guaranteed show stoppers and on this live album they do not disapoint with each member getting a chance to belt out a verse and show their individual talents on guitar and drums.
There is a reason they are the hottest band in the world, even unplugged they are still awesome to listen too. Great to here Paul, Ace, Gene, and Peter playing with Bruce and Eric. The Video is awesom too if you want to see it live. Coming Home is still my favorite on the whole CD, Rock and Roll all Night is awesome to with all four original members singing a verse.
When I first heard they were doing this I thought NO. Was I ever wrong! This is not only amazing sounding, there are also some odd tunes here. It was such a pleasant surprise to hear them pull out songs like Comin' Home and A World Without Heroes! And then to beat it all Ace Frehley & Peter Criss join in on a couple tracks. This was definitely one of the best MTV Unplugged sessions I have heard yet.
Documents the one off acoustic performance that led to the temporary reunion of the original members! Rarely performed gems take the spotlight!
