I'm happy with my purchase and can say it was a bargain. The phone has some features I wanted such as face time, lost phone find, and more memory. The battery life is okay nothing overwhelming.

It was in very good condition. However, as a reconditioned phone there were some issues with it. The charge port was so tight you had to use excessive force to plug the charge cable in. When I tried to removed the charge cable it was so tight it pulled the plug apart.

Our camera team has spent some professional time with the iPhone 4S, so check out our in-depth findings of the snapper. The iPhone 4S caught many by surprise, with Apple expected to release the iPhone 5 - but instead we got an iPhone 4 with overhauled innards. While the masses were initially disappointed, the iPhone 4S features a glut of top-end tech that is designed to put it on a par with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S2 - but does it manage to do that? The changes to the iPhone 4S are easy to document - the camera has been upgraded to 8MP (with an improved aperture ratio), the CPU is now the same dual-core A5 processor as seen in the iPad 2, and a seven time increase in graphical processing power. Also we've got Siri, Apple's voice recognition service - will this be a game changer for mobile phones or will it be nothing more than a gimmick? As we've mentioned, the iPhone 4S is almost identical in outward design to the iPhone 4, which might irk those that like to show that they've got the most up to date device from Apple when out and about with friends. However, the flip side of this is that things like the plethora of iPhone 4 covers on the market at the moment will still fit. Apple has slightly changed the design of the iPhone 4S somewhat though, by changing to a dual-band aerial design, making sure it doesn't encounter an embarrassing repeat of antenna-gate we had to endure with the iPhone 4. For all those that haven't seen the older version of the phone, we'll take you on a tour of the new handset: the top of the iPhone 4S houses the power/lock button, as well as the headphone jack, plus a microphone for noise cancellation. The right-hand side of the phone is devoid of any buttons, but holds the slot for the micro SIM card, which pops out using the included tool (or a paperclip). The bottom of the phone is pretty standard, with the Apple connector and dual speakers which pump out the (actually quite decent) sound. The left-hand side of the phone sees the rounded volume keys, with the top one of these also acting as the camera shutter button to make it easy to snap with the new iPhone. We've also got the silencer switch too, which has been slightly moved upwards from the previous iteration. As you can see, Apple has altered its antenna band technology to move the gaps that plagued the iPhone 4's reception to a less-touchable location. The iPhone 4S comes with iOS 5. The iPhone 4S is the flagship model for the new iOS software from Apple, making it much snazzier once more. We'll walk you through the big changes to start with - and Notifications is up there with the best of them. The new system apes Android by using a drop down menu from pretty much anywhere in the phone to let you see all manner of updates, weather news and messages, plus new notifications will now ping across the top of the screen rather than plopping straight into the middle of the screen like before and disrupting whatever you were doing. It's not revolutionary by any means, but it's well-integrated and makes the whole system feel a whole lot different to iOS 4. The lock screen is now called into more use than ever before too, with new notifications sitting on top to be easily accessed without needing to mess about inside the phone. 2ND HALF TO COME SOON! THANKS, WE HOPED YOU ENJOYED OUR REVIEW OF THE IPHONE 4S. ANY QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK!!!Read full review
iPhone 4S buyers looking for an unlocked version of the new phone can now grab one directly from Apple. The company has just started selling an unlocked and contract-free version of its new phone. In a nutshell, that means you can use the iPhone 4S without shelling out money for the usual two-year carrier contract. You can then jump from one network to another by picking up and inserting a micro-SIM card, which is available from each supported carrier. An unlocked phone is especially handy for people who travel around the world and want to be able to use it across a range of countries and carriers. Of course, there are one or two catches. The unlocked edition of the iPhone 4S supports only GSM carriers, so using the phone with CDMA-based Verizon Wireless or Sprint is not an option. And since there's no two-year contract, you'll pay the full, non-subsidized price for the phone. The 16GB iPhone 4S runs $649, the 32GB version costs $749, and the 64GB model is priced at $849. Apple's Web site currently shows a wait time of one to two weeks for the unlocked iPhone, the same number of weeks you'd wait for the regular subsidized version. As usual, you can buy the phone in either black or white.Read full review
simple to use, very fast, has it all, bad about it is easy to break (screen) and expensive. the internet browser is faster and easier than before the camera is very clear and easy to use. the siri fuction is fantastic, i love it and the best thing about it is it reads your words fast with no need to say the order in a neat and slow way. overall i love that phone
I just received the iPhone today and it was amazing! It worked well, everything worked perfectly, and it was indeed network unlocked, icloud unlocked, AND without a passcode: - volume buttons work (up and down) - both cameras (front and back) work perfectly, videos are great qualities, etc. - connects to wifi easily without a data plan (exactly what I needed) - home button works, power button works - charges nicely, doesn't seem to have unusual charging times or low battery life - obviously touch screen works - I can't notice ANY scratches or minor wears or chipping AT ALL!! It looks pretty much new, with just some tiny bits of dirt on the edges that is easy to clean up. Basically it was better than I expected! I loved it, and I would buy from soonersoft again if I ever wanted anything else from their products! 5 stars out of 5!!!Read full review

Wow, this is an amazing smartphone! I upgraded from a QWERTY phone, mainly because the app I needed to download and run for my business required a newer iOS than my iPod Touch could accommodate...so I sprung for this phone to replace both my iPod and my older smartphone. It was a breeze to restore this 4s to my iPod's back-up so I could have everything exactly on the 4s as I'd had on my iPod Touch 3rd Gen. I also really love that I could put my own micro SIM card in the side so I could continue to use my pre-paid no-contract service and established phone number...transferring that over was super simple, too. This is a rugged, quality unit, and I recommend it highly. Battery life could be greater, but now that it's powering along what I used to have two devices for, it makes sense that it wouldn't hold its charge as long as my other phone and my former iPod could on their own. And, I can charge it in my truck and at work, so it's not a major issue. The photos are crisp and clear and voice quality is excellent.Read full review
The iPhone 4s design was the inspiration for the 2018/19 iPad Pro & the iPhone 8-Xs Max with its glass backing & curved corners & block like shape. This phone still gets 3G network and still holds up in 2019 with reception and high speed services. Still works with most of our favorite apps while running IOS 8. Which is the last update for iPhone 4s. Using Siri on the iPhone 4s runs the same as the newer iPhone models for the most part minus the updates with bugs and fixes. Which is great considering it’s the first device it was introduced on. Cons with this iPhone in 2019 you won’t be able to enjoy certain feat like airdrop, group FaceTime. If your not looking to spend loads of money on the newer iPhones or just want to get this for a kids starter phone which still works when linking other Apple device across iCloud. It’s a great bargain.Read full review

The iPhone 4S is perfect for anyone just getting me into smart phones but doesn't want to spend the big bucks on a newer smart phone. It's especially perfect for anyone who's not used to this technology and just needs a starter smart phone. The 3G isn't bad at all or too slow, opening the App Store takes a little bit but nothing drastic. The battery life is pretty amazing compared to newer smart phones now and days. Photo quality isn't bad and the phone runs great all together. Highly recommend this phone, I'd gotten 2 for my parents who are old fashioned and they LOVE it! :)
