It’s a great router. Only nuisance is it’s fan that makes noise during every reboot. I’m cutting one star due to this issue. Not sure if that’s the design. Another good point is that it provides WiFi 6.

This router has been nothing but trouble. While it may work for a bit, you will encounter dropped connections and slow speeds. I have tried numerous configurations and resets. Netgear support is basically useless. Look elsewhere. eBay is censoring this review.

For the individuals that think that the ax8 is not worth the money I own two of the ax 12 Nighthawks they are not much different then the ax 8 is not much different minus the amount of devices you can have connected the ax 12 and the ax8 are two very good routers at Netgear rolled out they are the best on the market they will make you want to go and throw your AC router out a window of a 20-story building the signal is so much better they also work in conjunction with netgear's new Nighthawk modem that has multi gig ports on it these also support multigig ports as well as a wan jacks so they're well worth the money you were willing to spend between 400 to $600 for a state-of-the-art router

Speed is very good. Reliable connections. Quality is yet to prove out. Had some difficulty setting up the product. Netgear could do a better job by providing more enclosed literature for setup plus allow access to a settings website similar to Linksys which would greatly improve setup. The Netgear NightHawk app has a lot to be desired. Tech Support is limited to 3 months which is not acceptable especially when someone invests this much money in the product.
