    Suprising

    I have had noticeably thin hair since my late teens and have tried many hair care remedies to fix the problem. I bought some Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo from TJ Maxx last year and tried it. Within a short amount of time my hair became noticeably thicker. I purchased this bottle to replenish my stock and have been very happy with it. When even your hairdresser comments about your hair becoming thicker, I take that as a positive. Caveat: I used this shampoo in conjunction with Kerastase Initialiste (not sure about the spelling) and Caviar Clinical Red Clover Root Stimulating Spray.

    A Greasy Film

    The consistency is a comparable to a greasy film. Difficult to rinse out. It caused my hair to be very soft with no body. My hair would not hold its set. I will not use it again.

    Would buy the shampoo and conditioner

    The keranique comes as a set of shampoo, conditioner and spray. The spray has a terrifying list of warnings and ive decided not to use it. The shampoo and conditioner seem fine and make my hair soft shiny and w volume. However, its exensive in comparison to others.

    Holding the thinning at bay?

    I bought this product because my hair is thinning on the top. It seems to help make the hair shafts I have thicker, thus giving the illusion that I have more hair. Haven't noticed any regrowth, but it hasn't gotten thinner either. It makes my hair a little hard to manage, so about every 4 or 5 days, I use pantene to get the managability back. I've been using it for about two months. I'll use for a couple more before I try something else.
