I had a hp 435 camera and it fell, and broke. The outside of the camera was fine, but it just didn't work. The camera I bought was titled Trainwreck camera. The outside was damaged, but it worked. I put the two cameras together and now have a good camera. I have a much newer hp camera also, but this is great for the kids to use and it was cheap. The only thing I dislike about this camera is that it cracks easily near the battery compartment, and may need to be taped to stay shut. I have had this camera for about a month now. It is easy to use, easy to set up a picture to take. The quality is good, unless the batteries get low. I can snap about 8 pictures before they look fuzzy. It does use up the batteries quickly, but if you turn it off for a while it will take more pictures. The only thing I don't like about it is, I can not find an AC adapter for this camera. I do use the rechargable batteries, but wish I had the adapter. Just Right Size
Although it does not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive cameras, it is a good fit for those who have need for a small simple to operate system. The view screen is small, but clear as a bell. The one I got for my wife was a great Mother's Day gift and she loves it. You can set up your scene with the veiw finder and not waste battery power by having the screen on. This is a good idea for other cameras as well.Although it does not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive cameras, it is a good fit for those who have need for a small simple to operate system. This camera is just what it claims to be "entry level". The flash never seems to work when it should, and always flashes charging when you need it, by the time the flash is ready I hope you didnt miss your picture. Its a good camera for still daylight pictures. If you make any fast movements when taking a picture, you will not get the picture you are looking for, it has delayed timing. Battery life is not to bad with this camera, I would suggest taking your batteries out when not in use, as with all digital cameras. I bought it for my 16 year old, its user friendly for new users. Easy to download to your computer and good step by step walk through instructions. Fairy inexpensive for an average digital camera.This camera is just what it claims to be "entry level".
