This is a good box at a great price but plan on loading new software. The Embedded W/8 is too crippled to do much with. The seller warned us tho. One tip. Reset BIOS to default before you try to do anything. It is set to some funky state that makes booting troublesome. Password is "Fireport". Use the delete key on boot up to get in. The shipping was fast and product exactly as advertised. I am happy

  • works great and easy on the wallet

This is a funny thing to rate. I use it every day and take it for granted. that all changed when i spilt a half cup of coffee into lappy. the keyboard did not respond well although it was organic french roast black . should have woke it up but instead the right side went to sleep. It was inexpensive online (ebay) my local store wanted $ 50 so getting them for like $12 was great. I grabbed a spare. The new keyboard took about 1 minute to kick in the right half of the keys. Just long enough to scare me somthing else was wrong. But has worked great .Brought this old Dell back up to original performance. David C

  • Awesome product. Low cost and brings your computer back to life.

This keyboard is great. My old keyboard had several bad keys for a long time before I decided to figure out how to replace it. Now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. This keyboard is very low cost, and it takes about two minutes to change it out, and it is just like it was when my computer was new. If you have keyboard problems, do not waste your time replacing individual keys. For the cost of replacing a couple of keys you can replace the entire keyboard. If you want to see instructions on how to change the keyboard, you can watch a video on youtube at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr1ylFL1FpA

  • Ordering and Installing my laptop keyboard was a great deal thru ebay.

The keyboard to our Dell inspiron had the "p" key broken and we used it for about a year like that but could get by as if you pressed hard enough, the key would work. Then the plastic key cracked from pressing down too much too hard. So I saw this oppurtunity to purchase this keyboard that was the exact fit. Taking a chance I thought I could replace it myself. Using some internet savvy I looked at some other people on U tube thru google some examples of how to replace the keyboard. Once the part came, it was in about 20 minutes. It came very promptly in the mail and we now use this laptop every day. The keyboard works flawlessly. It was one of the best purchases that I have made thru ebay.

  • well worth it, easy to install, like getting a brand new computer

I'm very happy with this keyboard. It's like getting a brand new computer. It's really easy to install a keyboard to a computer just look up a youtube video for instruction. I was surprised on how easy it was.

  • So inexpensive & easy to install, I bought 2, one for my Mom's Laptop too!

Although my Keyboard was working, some of the labels on the keys were rubbing off and with all the Crumbs and dust between the keys I decided to buy a replacement. Yes, you could blow out the dust but I still wanted a new one with bright letters that I could read. And you wouldn't realize how easy it is to replace this keyboard! Gently pry off the top bezel above the Keyboard starting from the right to the left side. Two screws is all that holds the keyboard in place. Pop the keyboard off and disconnect the ribbon cable. Reverse the process to install the new Keyboard! Simple!
