About this product

Product Information

Seth McFarlane's dysfunctional Griffin family makes its video game debut as a third-person action title starring Peter, Stewie, and Brian in their own storylines rife with pop-culture jabs. As boorish blockhead Peter Griffin, players must stop English butler Mr. Belvedere's apparent bid for world domination. Wrathful wunderkind Stewie Griffin battles his "sperm brother" Bertram, while cultivated canine Brian Griffin figures a way out of prison. The game features a cel-shaded look to keep it in line with the animated series, and players will visit a number of familiar locales in and around the fictitious setting of Quahog, Rhode Island. Expect characters such as Death, Glen Quagmire, Cleveland Brown, and Joe Swanson to make comical cameos throughout the "giggity giggity" game.

  • Let's Pretend you like Family Guy a Second...

Face it, the reason you are buying this game is because you enjoy Family Guy. You enjoy cutscenes, you enjoy quagmire humping things, you enjoy Joe being physically challenged, and most of all, you like the antics of the Griffen Family. The game is broken into three play styles. As Peter, you have only a handful of different moves to fight and destroy everything that comes onto the screen. As Brian you sneak through and around a number of different environments that have different challenges, but the idea is the same - avoid being seen by anyone, and resist the urge to mark your territory, drink or hit on women. Stewies game are mostly a single camera shootout against multiple enemies, with a few puzzles and a couple vehicle-type levels. Overview of Gameplay: Peter's levels ...

  • Rent, do not buy

Family Guy I was bored, rented Family Guy, beat it in 5 hours, wanted to stop playing after about 35 minutes but had nothing to do. The game is good for the first scenes of each character... other than Stewie (who gets to do more than one thing) the rest of the game is far too repetitive to be good. Brian does nothing but walk around collecting things but can't be seen. It's boring and annoying. Peter walks around kicking and punching people (but can't do both, it's either or, which is stupid as well) Stewie gets to use a gun, mind control, slide on his belly, surf, etc... if it wasn't for Stewies part in this game I would've taken in it back right away. The cut scenes are sometimes funny but aren't explained to you so you just hope you ...

  • Spring break in your living room

I don't know why the Family Guy game is here...this review is for The Guy Game...totally unrelated....although i saw some less than stellar comments on this game...i have found ,after a rather frustrating session of getting the game to load....that i actually enjoy this "spring break" trivia contest...it's not really challenging except for trying to predict what the ladies will answer...but it is a nice mindless break that provides a mildly entertaining break from the day. The host of the game within the game is quite an amusing fellow ( i envy him his job...lol) and there are some quite attractive ladies involved in the process....so if you are looking for some simple entertainment and don't want another shoot 'em up role playing game...grab hold and have a ...

I liked the idea of a Family Guy video game, but the graphics were quite disappointing. The characters look like they were drawn or created with a very old program - there were rough edges to the characters' faces where there should have been more rounded features. However, the character voices are the same ones from the TV series. The complexity of the individual games (Stewie's satellite dish, Brian's escape, etc.) progressed as you went along. Overall, I think it is a good game for mature audiences - it is not appropriate for children under 17 (IMHO).
