Updated Pro Stick controls offer gamers more command over their dribbling, defense, and shot type, with players now executing no-look passes and circus shots, and defenders blocking dunks and diving on the floor for loose balls, while the My Player career mode returns with improved teammate AI and new rewards for playing stout defense.<br><br>NBA 2K14 makes use of Dynamic Living Rosters, which adjusts rosters to reflect real-world injuries, and updates ratings based on the tendencies and performance of real players. The Signature Skills player modification feature returns, with six new options that let gamers turn their My Player character into a One Man Fastbreak, Flashy Passer, Pick & Roll Maestro, Screen Outlet, Pick Dodger, or Tenacious Rebounder. In addition to consulting on the soundtrack, James gets the dedicated Path to Greatness mode, which lets gamers live out the past, present, and future career of the superstar.<br><br>Fans of European basketball can now take control of 14 different Euroleague teams, complete with real rosters, logos, and stadiums, while fans of classic NBA action can once again take control of legends like Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Jordan, and Magic Johnson.     Problem....

    This game is the best game NBA game I've played, to date. My ONLY problem with this game is that it is too good :) I could spend hours playing this game and not realize the time. The Career mode is very fun. That is where I have spent most of my time and again, you could spend hours just playing that. There is also the ability to do a franchise with a team, play the playoffs, go through the draft, etc... there really isn't enough room or time for me to tell about this game. Lastly, don't buy this game if you can't take a Saturday off and just play - it's that compelling.

    I mean it's a 2k basketball game always good nuff said!!

    I've been playing 2k basketball forever just about. Always the most realistic basketball game with all features and real life looking player experiences. Season mode and my player mode always fun to play. Best improvement this year is overall blocking shots and the help defense only thing I didn't like this and last year was the dribbling controls but not a deal breaker.
