Fun But Out-Dated
An easy way to look at this game is: Godzilla meets Mad Max. Originally created in 1987 as a spin-off for TSR's GAMMA WORLD rpg. This game is about as merciless and cut-throat as you're going to get. So much so, it's literally written into the game rules! This is less like a 'traditional' board game, and more of an old-school tabletop wargame. You play as the leader of 1 of 6 organizations, who are trying to rebuild the post-apocalyptic world in their own design. To this end, you employ the help of a giant monster/cyber-decked cyborg known as a Bioborg. Most games will last an hour or two, depending on how many players join in. Unfortunately, GAMMARAUDERS is severely out-dated as the game rules have not aged well at all. There are many times when the rules feel very clunky, and ...
