    Best in Class

    There is good reason why this microphone always pops up on lists of the best USB microphones. It plugs and plays well. Most people do not need the advanced features of professional microphones at higher price points. Make no mistake, however, the Blue Yeti X holds its own among them in terms of sound output. Love the stand with which it came and opted not to purchase a boom arm. I also purchased a foam mic cover to prevent unwanted noise from coming through since I have a ceiling fan in my home office. If you do, make sure you get one large enough for this model. The Blue Yeti X is a winner and offers a lot of bang for the buck.

    Worth the money!

    I must say this Mike is surprisingly great. The microphone works with the such Precision capturing every single word for dictation of Microsoft Word. You don't have to have the microphone directly in front of you, you can have it to the left or right of you screen and it picks up every single word perfectly. I highly recommend this microphone for speaking on blogs or YouTube or even dictation for writing a letter. You won't be disappointed.

    Great Microphone

    This is an overall great microphone, and is built to last quite a bit. However it's a tad heavy so keep that in mind if you're planning to attach this microphone to a boom arm. I would also recommend getting a better usb cable, for example, Anker's 10ft long micro-USB cable.

    Great mic!

    Good sound quality, great software - easy to use. I will say the gain lights get annoying after a while, I switched the front setting to microphone usually so I don't see the gain fluctuating all the time.

    Yeti X - nuff said

    Great microphone if you want clear accurate reproduction. Like the LED lights on the gain and the large mute button with LED color light indicator. Very heavy and well built microphone.
