    Great phone

    This is my second outdated blackberry. IMHO, these are much higher quality than just about all smart phones. The construction is outstanding. Blackberry OS is nothing fantastic but it gets the job done. This Torch has a nice touch screen and a pull out keyboard. The battery life is a couple days if you do not take too many long calls. The tranciever is strong. So far no dropped calls. If you do not need the latest and greatest, this one is outstanding.

    I wanted a Blackberry that could be used as a Hub.

    Every online resource I have reviewed indicates the Torch can be used as a Hub. This one cannot. I do not know why. I must have that capability in my line of work. I have shelved this and reverted back to my Curve and will shop around some more.

    Excellent Phone

    This phone is perfectly fit in your hand and sound grate. I just use it for oversea travelling where you will only have 2G and 3G service. Battery is long lasting for two days to talk. Two Tums Up!!

    acts like the first 'smartphone' ever constructed

    does not give you options to only use wireless - internet only works if your data is on - thus you are charged internet browser will not load or takes up to 10 minutes to load and even if it loads - it conveys the beginning of internet webpages - unable to see many images or wording that describe/navigate... it was like using the first facebook ever created - at dial up speed you have to have the phone slid open - with buttons showing to type numbers when on a call - for instance you call anything that asks you to press 1 for english, or enter an extension - if the phone is not allready slid open to do this it exits the call - annoying when you wait 20 minutes on hold only to have your phone call ended with 1/4 battery power this phone will turn off in the middle of a call - without ...
