George Romero's (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD) popular television series becomes a feature film, with some help from Stephen King and Michael McDowell (screenwriter of BEETLEJUICE), in the form of three chilling tales with a connecting story. In "Lot 249" is a college student (Christian Slater) is menaced by a mummy. "Cat From Hell" finds the millionaire owner of the titular feline hiring a hitman to kill the pet. Finally, in "Lover's Vow" an artist suffers severe retribution after taking a vow of silence after witnessing the murder of a friend.

    Back then, horror shorts were more entertaining and meaningful. Loved all three tales plus the tale in between the tales. Tales from the Darkside show never disappointed and either did the film!
