This Canon 18.0 MP camera comes with a nine-point all cross-type autofocus (AF) system that includes a Hybrid CMOS AF sensor, which greatly increases autofocusing speed. The sensor in this black Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D enhances autofocus interruption time by utilizing contrast and phase detection combined. In addition, the Canon 18.0 MP camera offers three separate methods for focusing in on subjects. They are face detection, multi-point AF, and single point AF. For reducing or eliminating image noise, this digital SLR camera comes with a multi-shot noise-reduction feature that essentially takes multiple pictures then combines them to create the highest quality image. Similarly, the Canon EOS Rebel T4i/650D also has Handheld Night and HDR Backlight, both of which take numerous images to construct the best image in certain situations. For quick and easy access to images, the Canon 18.0 MP camera is designed with a 3-inch Clear View II Vari-Angle touchscreen LCD monitor so users can easily reach settings or pinch zoom and slide through images. With a resolution of 5184x3456 pixels and an EF-S 18 mm-135 mm f/3.5-5.6 image stabilized zoom lens, this digital SLR camera ensures consumers can capture crisp, clear, high-quality photos.

Camera was brand dew as described. Great price! My issue came with the shipping process. It shipped out fast but the seller requires an in person signature. They will not allow for pickup at a local shipping store and won't reroute to a different address. I had to take a day off work to wait for the package. It also delayed me getting the camera by about 5 days. For that reason I won't do business with the seller again.

    Great value. Excellent image quality and features.

    This is my first DSLR. I was about to buy a T3i with the standard 18-55 and a friend convinced me to go further. After comparing the features and quality of the optics I decided to follow his advise, and it turned out great. The STM lens is fast and silent and IS helps a lot. The optic quality of the lens is very good for the price, and the body feels solid and well balanced. I'm not a pro photographer so I can't really tell how good this camera is, but as a photo enthusiast I can't find anything but value in this product. It's affordable, it has a good set of features (the touchscreen is an unexpected plus) and the quality of the pictures is great. For its price, features and quality, it seems an unbeatable option for people looking for their first DSLR. I'm very happy with it.

    Great crisp photos for high-end consumer DSLR, boat-load of features

    After having a t3i for work, bought the t4i and very happy about upgrades of touch screen, good 18-135mm stepper motor lens. Focus tracking speed not good enough for video but adequate for non-critical recording. Camera has an HDR setting and works well, otherwise bracket exposures and use software to do HDR. One small thing, not with camera but with Canon raw CR2 format and Windows 7 64 bit support, there is no codec from either canon or msoft for the PC that shows photo thumbnails in Windows Explorer - hard to believe at this late date this does not exist. Also, questionable whether Magic Lantern will support T4i with their firmware product - really would like to have ML micro focusing in Live View mode.

    Best Rebel ever made!

    I upgraded from the T1i to the T4i and so far im very pleased with how this camera and lens preform. The STM lens paired with the T4i is a solid DSLR for an intermediate photographer like me. I take lots of landscape shots and pictures of trains. The autofocus is 10 times faster than my old T1i paired with the ef-s 18-55mm lens.
