God of War III is the final game in the God of War trilogy. This game starts off immediately where the second game ended, with Kratos climbing Mt. Olympus. This game will see Kratos finally take his revenge against gods such as Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. What began as a vendetta against Ares will end with the entire Greek pantheon collapsing around him. The single-player campaign will last around 15 hours for gamers who want to see and do everything. The God of War III: Ultimate Edition packs in a number of additional items that hardcore gamers will love. Like the previous games, this title was developed and published by Sony.The action in God of War III is similar to the past games. Using the Blades of Exile, you will carve your way through mythological enemies. Everything from skeletons and minotaurs to Hercules himself will feel your wrath. You can chain different attacks together to form a combo. These combos let you deal more damage and stun your enemies. You will also learn an array of new magic spells to help you on your quest. These spells give you new abilities such as summoning the souls of the dead to attack an enemy. You'll acquire three additional weapons during your quest, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Abilities and items from the previous video game, such as the Golden Fleece, are unlocked at the start. You can use your rage to destroy any god in your path. When the rage meter is full, unleash it to deal additional damage to a foe.Your adventure is confined to Olympus, though this mountain has a large variety of places. You'll travel through dense forests and a sprawling temple on your way to fight Zeus. Each level holds an array of secrets for gamers who are diligent in exploring. These secrets include in-game bonuses such as more health and magic. You can also unlock bonus material, such as behind-the-scenes footage and extra skins for Kratos that change his appearance and powers. Since it's on the PS3, God of War III is a huge graphical improvement over God of War II. Character models feature more detail, and the blood and gore have never looked more gruesome. God of War III takes full advantage of the PlayStation 3 and has no slowdown or lag.The Ultimate Edition for God of War III features physical and digital items. A sculpted replica of Pandora's Box is a perfect replica of the one found in the title. Pandora herself would approve of the fine detail etched into the side of this item. This special edition also includes a hardcover art book. This art book collects interviews and sketches from the various games. There are five digital items available through the PlayStation Network. The Dominus digital download code gives you a new skin for your character. The Combat Arena offers seven more levels of content. You'll receive a video discussing the franchise as a whole. You'll also receive two soundtracks. One is a heavy metal homage to the music of God of War III, while the other is an exclusive collection of music from all three titles.

    It opens just like Kratos does kn the game and its like brand new sitting on my shelf with the action figure positioned like it’s pushing the box around

    Kratos' last stand

    I bought God Of War III because i am a fan of the first two which where awsome games in and of themselves. This game has an epic storyline infused with greek mythology. The graphics are sharp and very well developed, the way the story unfolds is amazing.One major selling point for this game is the way that in some of the boss battles the camera angle switches to the other guys perspective of getting handed his beating. the weapons from the first two also return and they are inproved as well. combat system is tight and responsive. you will be intrigued by the storline to keep playing. i have beaten this game twice and am playing through it again and noticing things i missed the first two times through. This is an all around great game and it is disappointing that this will be the last ...

    One of the coolest collectors edition!

    I love the pandora's replica inside the box that was realy good sculpted! the game as an action adventure game rocks and completes the story with cratos satisfying,though the edition that i was buy has fewer stuff inside the box from those that i expect.For example this edition was not offering inside the bonus cd's and in the vouncers have fewer costumes for cratos.And most importantly the gow1-2 was missing from the curent edition.I was thought that all the editions shared the same features but there are two diferend editions! the ultimate trilogy edition that has all those that i mention,ant the ultimate edition.The art book from the other hand was a hard cover 50 pages book that i was love from the extras inside the box! instead a paperback small in the eyropean version.In general this ...

    God of War III Ultimate Edition

    Pandoras box is really detailed. Wish it was made out of metal instead of plastic but still cool none the less. The Game is amazing. A visual masterpiece. Alot shorter then I was expecting for it being a PS3 game. GOWII was alot longer then 3. You also have to beat the game before you can use the costume and battle arena you unlock with the code. If you want the pandoras box then it is worth the extra money.

    The Pinnacle In Action Gaming

    I've played many action games between this generation and the last, and I have yet to play one that was anywhere near as polished as God of War III. With epic boss fights, brutal finishing moves, and a great storyline, I don't see how it could get any better than this. The Ultimate edition also came with some nice very extras, such as the pandora's box sculpture, the 2 pieces of DLC, and the GoW trilogy soundtrack, it was well worth the price, and I'm glad I shelled out the extra cash.
