Nice and loud, reasonably priced but for old school DVDs and VCRs, get a converter and HDMI cables now!
Works great. Nice and loud. Easy installation of the other components I have. Bluetooth works wonderfully and FRONT USB. Thank you Pioneer! One caveat, if you have older equipment like a DVD or VCR you'll need a CONVERTER and HDMI cables. Why? Because the RCA inputs on the Pioneer do nothing. Pioneer said they don't know what kind of television you have so that's why there are RCA inputs on the unit. Ok, but the Pioneer has an HDMI out, so this renders the RCA inputs useless. -you'll get sound but no picture if you use the RCA inputs....so...: If you like a reasonably priced home receiver and a quick shipment, buy this but also get yourself an RCA to HDMI converter and HDMI cables. -I recommend Belkin cables.Works great. has excellent on screen display and easy setup with a microphone included. The receiver has low signal to noise ratio and convenient video upscaling from 1080 p to 4k. Also the CEC FUNCTIONS like a dream to control other sources.

are usually reliable. I've had good luck with them in the past but don't know if they're still reliable. This receiver ( VSX 532 ) seems to have everything basic that one would need except a screw on FM input. It comes with a little push on antennae but most of us would want a better one. Push on cords usually aren't long enough to reach a splitter box. If you need to reset this receiver to the factory settings be sure to note that there are four steps in the quick start guide ( at first glance there appear to be only two ). Also there is an AUX setting but no AUX inputs. You can view the owners manual on the Pioneer website or print it out.are usually reliable.
