This book was compelling and easy to read. It had so much information concerning the corruption of the US workers for HONDA in the fastest growing car company of the 70's and 80's. A history that I know HONDA wished didn't exist, but was a downfall of a lot of Honda representatives that got caught taking bribes from dealers. Rick Hendrick of the NASCAR fame was involved in the corruption and it was amazing to me that he never spent time in jail for his involvement, but all the others did. Hmmm!! You gotta read this if you have any interest in the building of a great company that had some pitfalls and still came out as one of the largest selling auto companies in the WORLD!

I always enjoy reading about the automotive industry. I find the attention to detail given to developing and building cars is second to none. This book shows you the underbelly of a company that has received much good publicity and the seeming justification of graft and corruption that was at best tolerated but more likely encouraged from the top down.
a must read for anyone that has worked in a Honda dealership or has been involved with dealer bill of rights legislation! text from this book were quoted at hearings in Concord NH this past year year and thankfully we now have a stronger dealer bill of rights in NH as a result. Charles F Johnson
