Meanwhile, Homer bowls a perfect game, gets challenged to a pistol duel, starts a motorcycle gang, and becomes a food critic while Bart is put on behavior-correcting medication and gets a look into his future, Lisa takes tap dancing lessons, Marge thinks the new house guest wants to kill her, and Moe lands a soap opera gig after getting plastic surgery. In this season's Treehouse of Horror episode, Homer accidentally kills Ned Flanders, Bart and Lisa gain superpowers and save Lucy Lawless, and Homer inadvertantly causes a Y2K apocalypse.

    As always , great content , however packaging is bad

    Every Simpsons box set has always been full Deleted scenes , commenteries on all episodes , promos , easter eggs , and many other bonus features. And of course the excellent episodes themselves. This one is no diffrent. The bonus features are 5/5 and all the episodes are as funny as when I first saw them. The problem I have is with the box/packaging. I don't know how to describe it well , however the way the box is designed makes the discs likley to get damaged and scratched. Unlike the first 10 seasons , there are no hubs to stick the disc on to ensure they are safley in the box. Instead you have to slide them in and out from the side and they are never firmly in place. Overall , great season , great features , I just wish the packaging had been better.

    A major dissapointment

    I have been a life-long fan of The Simpsons, but season 11 never fails to disappoint me. The Season 11 boxset was supposed to be released sometime in December 2007, but was delayed due to the Simpson Movie's home release. The packaging is horrible and I'm afraid I might damage the disc or break the packaging itself. Most of the episodes have poor scripts and about 15 out of the 22 are bad. There are a few good episodes, but Matt Groening himself said it contained some of the best. Guess what, HE LIED! This season does have its highlights like Apu's octuplets being born and when Maude Flanders gets killed off. Overall, I still wouldn't recommened it to you even if you are a die-hard Simpsons fan like me. It will be kept on the shelf so that I can lern from my mistake.

    A necessity for fans but not necessarily funny.

    This season does not use the humor as the previous decade. There are some parts that are smart and funny enough to make a viewer laugh but these gems are few and far between, unlike the prior seasons where it was one laugh after another. However, this is a must-own-item for any Simpson's dedicated fan as it is another chapter in their on going story.
