    Midea MAW08V1QWT 8000 BTU U-shaped Smart Air Conditioner

    PROS: Without any doubt this is extremely quiet even on high setting this unit is perfect for a bedroom, great feature is you can turn off the LED display. CONS: installation is not straight forward & you may find that it will not fit your window perfectly you may have to do some extras to get it to fit correctly, however they do have a video available which is very helpful. Also, this would be more of a permanent type of installation so if you want to remove the air conditioner for the winter you might want to consider leaving it in place. Last con is this you will need some type of heavy curtains or something to place along both sides of the unit because the window is completely visible along both sides letting in a lot of sun & heat. With all of that being said I still would recommend ...

    -'Smart' features! I connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, using the 'Midea Air' iPhone app, allowing me to control the unit from anywhere, set any temperature, mode, or fan speed (I just leave it in Auto!). I can also set schedules, check energy usage, and it even shows me the indoor/outdoor temperature! I can also control this with Alexa. -Very Good design! The support bracket allows the unit to sit on it, rather than the window sill, allowing the window to still be opened on a nice day! -Almost SILENT operation. At its lowest temperature setting (60F), with the fan on High, and compressor on cool, this thing is still whisper quiet. -Swing Arm! This unit has a motorized swing arm that evenly distributes the air, and can be toggled remotely as well. -Night/sleep mode. Even though the display is a ...

    Quietest Window Air Conditioner

    The Midea is hands down the quietest window a/c that I’ve ever had. It also is super efficient and cools almost my whole first floor. It also had the best installation kit and instructions - things like flip down holders to hold the block foam insulation in place. The video was extremely helpful!! We are considering buying a second unit for our second floor….

    Extremely quiet.

    Bought this for home office. Excellent features. Directions refer to online website for wifi setup, but this model is not listed. Looks as though all their window AC’s use same app. For Alexa setup, you have to use Midea skill. Works flawlessly.

    Quietest Air Conditioner ever

    Consumer Reports said it was the quietest air conditioner but because I’m a light sleeper I was hoping for just a little better than my old air conditioner. I was amazed how quiet it was…it never woke me up once all night. Love it.
