    Fantastic, portable everyday camera

    Coming from a DSLR with some decent lenses, I thought this would be a major letdown in terms of image quality. It's not, and not by a long shot. I was also worried about low-light performance, but the image stabilization here is really amazing and let me get sharp results indoors, in a dark bar, shooting handheld at ISO 200 (1/4 second shutter!). So yeah, unless you need fast action capture in low light, no worries here. Add on how much more portable this really is, especially with the retracting electronic-zoom kit lens, and it's become my go-to camera for all but the most specialized purposes. Pros: - Very fun to use, both in auto/semi-auto and full-manual capacity - Much more portable than most DSLRs, and that extends to the available lenses too - Retro styling definitely doesn't ...

    Perfect camera

    I love this camera. So easy to use and great quality camera. The only surprise, which I should have known looking at the photos, is that the view finder is an electronic duplicate of the back lcd screen, rather than a genuine view finder...That's a bit weird to get used to but I'm getting there. All in all, a great product.

    Best bang for your buck

    Having a lot of experience with Nikon, Fujifilm, Sony and Canon I can say that for the size and money this camera is fantastic for anyone from a beginner to a seasoned pro once you figure out the menus. It has fast and reliable autofocus and the kit lens can take some superb photos. I would highly recommend this as a backup to a larger system or as a first step into interchangeable lens cameras.

    This camera is amazing - Small, lightweight and photographic sharpness/detail is wonderful!!

    I have a very bad back and thought I would have to give up photography because of the weight of camera and lens. I researched newer model cameras, and found the Olympus. I'm still unable to walk long distances, but now I can walk and carry the Olympus w/zoom lens - the weight is so much less now; without losing any sharpness or detail in any photos. Highly recommend this camera.
