The best there is!
Had another one of these from long ago, and it worked FANTASTIC with all the Great Danes I've had through the years. Unfortunately, I lost the thing, and had to buy another. This is high quality, it does not need the little rubber caps, and it has a quick release 'snap' which really helps. My male dane has a 20" neck, so the Extra Large model was best -due primarily to his 150 lb. weight. If you are losing your mind trying to walk a dog that is determined to pull, this collar is GENTLE and works instantly, with no training other than just going for a walk. Wait until you see the difference. It is NOT NECESSARY to jerk the leash, just a light tug AT MOST. Despite what some people (that have no idea what they are talking about) say, there is not a more humane anti-pull ... Thx for providing a great quality item for a very affordable price! I’ve been meaning for years to buy one for my German Shepherd who’s like a horse is strength when I take him on a walk. He would pull me every which way and I’m a muscle guy that weights 250lbs and now it’s like a dream to take him on a walk. I just use it to train him on walks and take it off when we get home. I hesitated getting this collar for years because I didn’t want to spend the money but when I say your price and assurance it was German made not the crappie Chinese knock off I just had to jump on it! Two finger leash walking with the Herm Sprenger collar
These collars work great for a stubborn dog. Just be slow to let them feel it before you start jerking it. My 60 pound Rottweiler pup was introduced to it in the house and while walking away he felt the prongs on the collar . We went outside 5 minutes later and he only gets mild corrections. this collar is great and it WORKS. I believe this collar is safe and it would take a lot to actually hurt a dog but just use common sense . These collars work great for a stubborn dog.
