    perfiect product: holds style without heavyness

    Perfect product! I've used it for years and I'm now upset that they have stopped making it! It is light, melts on your hands and HOLDs your hairstyle for days without stiffness and with soft feeling hair. The replacement product (Clean Gel) is horrid. It feels like axle grease in your hands! Bring back my Melting Gel, L'oreal!!! It lasts a long time, is silky and most of all it works! without making your hair look like a helmet. Bring it back and I'll happily pay more that the $4.99 price tag of before.

    poor quality

    this is not like the product I buy in the local store. It is not gel but liquid and does not hold my hair style. The local store product is a real gel and it holds my hair as expected;I've used it for years. But this product from online is worthless liquid.

    I love it, and so does my wife!!

    I discovered this "different" type of hair gel quite some time ago, by accident actually. Upon using the first tube for a few days, I realized that my hair was staying in place, but did NOT have the "crust" or "hard shell" feel ... which other hair gel seems to usually bring about. I liked that difference very much. My wife (40+ years, and counting) really liked it too. When your wife or girlfriend like the way your hair looks/feels ... why change what you are doing with it? Some years after starting to use this L'Oreal product, it became increasingly difficult to find in the stores. I looked and found that it is still available on eBay! The prices are better on eBay, I buy a few tubes at a time, it arrives in my mail .... perfect!!

    Fine hair gel

    After using Redken Stand Tough for years, I decided to try something different. This gel works just as well, smells nice and is a very good value. This has a very natural feel - no spikes or clumps. I recommend it!

    L'Oreal melting gel

    I'm so glad I found more of this product. I've used this gel for years and I'm so sad L'Oreal has discontinued making it. With my type of hair it is the only product that has consistently worked.
