The order arrived on a Monday, the first day of the delivery window, even though I got an email message that same morning stating it was going to be delivered on Friday, 4-days late. After a close inspection of the product, it looked to be in new condition; however, it appears to have been unpackaged from its original Toyota packaging and repackaged for shipment to me. This caused concern because I was no longer sure I was getting a brand new product, as advertised. I'm still not positive.

    ES350 Trunk release button

    I've been living with the gummed up original button for years - a problem many ES350 owners share. I live in Texas and the heat seems to make it worse each year. It was getting very difficult to open from outside the car so I checked at the Lexus dealer. Their price convinced me to live without it for a while longer. Then I found this for less than half what the dealer wanted. It's genuine, easy to install ( but does require some mechanical ability) and works perfectly. I wish now that I had done it years ago.

    Great Replacement for a Lexus Problem Switch

    Great replacement for the Lexus trunk switch which eventually melts all over the trunk. The replacement switch fit perfectly and was very easy to install. The price was reasonable, and I received the replacement within 3 or 4 days. Wonderful product; great supplier.

    Easy D I Y Project to replace

    Very easy to replace. The only issue I have is the original switch had a rubber cover that became sticky and became difficult if not impossible to operate. This made it necessary to replace. Not the quality I would expect from Lexus. If I keep the car another 9 years I can expect to replace the new switch as well.

    Installed and working perfectly!

    Installed and working perfectly. Took me about 20 minutes from start to finish for installation (loosen trunk lid liner, remove old switch, install new switch, re-install trunk liner). Hardest part of the installation was due to the fact that I had to work around the trunk liner because I didn't remove it completely (due to the safety trunk release lever).

    Why Did I Wait so Long?

    My old switch was pure aggravation. The rubber switch cover on my 2008 Lexus ES350 was a gooey mess. New switch was easy to install, works perfectly.
