I received a carburetor I ordered and It had a accelerator pump leaking severely. I reported back to the seller and after some dialogue of explaining the issue to the seller they shipped me a replacement. I am overall satisfied now that my sweet beetle is ripping once again. The carburetor is a decent replacement for a solex. It has a good idle and smooth acceleration (even with my fat camshaft!!) If you're looking to replace a tired old solex you can't go wrong with this carb and price.

Bought as a temporary replacement for the original Solex 34 pict-3 carb on my 74 type 1. Was a little skeptical but rolled the dice anyway. Part shipped and was delivered in good time. It was packaged well and is built quite well. Only negative was the accelerator pump diaphragm screw was over tightened and leaked a little. I had a new spare so no harm, no foul. I would only suggest checking before installing. Came with all hardware and mounting gaskets. Definitely worthwhile for the price.
