Couldn’t be happier with my purchase and experience. The book was delivered quickly, packaged securely and received exactly as described. The seller was attentive to my request to add additional shipping directions to preserve the integrity of the book and made sure the packaging provided adequate protection. Would highly recommend to all and I hope to transact with them again in the future. Thanks again!

  • Churchill Brown Complex Variables Feedback

As an introductory course or for some basic undergraduate review in all things complex variables, Brown and Churchill's text is great. I highly recommend. It includes all the basic with along with appropriate commentary and simplified proofs. Even with graduate study of the material, some basic exercises in this text can serve to jog one's memory of key results in Complex Analysis. The writing is clear and the layout is clean. I highly recommend this. Please be careful of other Math Snobs writing derogatory reviews--they are probably advanced students traumatized by all things Walter Rudin.

  • I would highly recommend it for all Mathematics students at Uni or Higher

Studied most of my Uni course with this excellent book written with great experience and dedication, each topic contains extensive amounts of full examples and the exercises come with full solutions(which I believe you have to get separately the solutions manual). The book in my opinion is of essential value for Mathematics students studying at University level as it provides an ideal course tutor guide and perfects ones knowledge on topics of complex variables.

  • Pretty good; great value for a textbook.

A very good book: straightforward and easy to understand. However, it's exercises are certainly a step above its examples, so unless you really understand the material or have a good teacher, it can be extremely hard to get through certain sections.

  • Buy the International Edition if you're looking to save some money

International Edition is, thus far, EXACTLY the same as the standard version, except for the cover and size.

  • Concepts need more explanation than the book gives

This book does a decent job with the concepts of complex analysis, but I think examples are lacking, and explanations need a professor's help. The exercises help work out the lack of clarity, but don't completely make up for it.
