This phone replaced an old Samsung the had only 2G connectivity and that was not supported after a TMobile upgrade to their towers. My wife wanted a flip phone and this model was offered by TMobile, but was out of stock and on backorder. I found this one (unlocked, yet) and it works perfectly well. Be advised that it requires a micro-SIM and the old SIM could not be used. TMobile replaced that with a micro-SIM and did not charge for the service. The old phone was purchased through TMobile and they accepted it for recycling. This is not a fancy smartphone, but it is a phone that my wife can use without being technically proficient.

Since CDMA 3G cell service is going away, this simple 4G GSM flip phone is a very economical replacement for older 3G flip phones. Great alternative to a convoluted smartphone ... which is basically a hip-mounted, internet-connected, GPS-enabled portable computer that you can TALK on. I HATE smartphones. I use the Z320 to TALK to people ... you call, we TALK. I don't need my cell phone to do anything else. I don't need texting; I have a home computer for printed communication (email). However, this phone will allow you to text and take still photos and video if you think you need that. You can upload custom mp3 ringtones from your computer (put them in the MUSIC folder on the phone) No User Manual is included ... you have to download that from the internet Comes with removable battery, AC wall charger, and USB cord to connect phone to your home computer. I liked this phone so much, that I bought a couple spares to keep in stock in case I break one.Read full review

The phone generally performs as expected, that is, connecting to 4G and LTE networks. The phone is truly unlocked as I have tried several SIM cards with success. The user manual is lacking depth and in general, one must examine each menu, sub-menu, and choice to know it well enough to be comfortable with the phone's usage. I have found it to have two annoying software flaws: * inability to enter the + sign preceding a phone number in the Contacts screens (a work-around is to enter that number such as +16496721189 from the main screen and use it to create a new contact * when replying to a message, common punctuation symbols are unavailable Given the upgraded network capability, I think the price is acceptable for this minimalist phone.

Good value for $50. Very good radio. Should be smaller for confirmed flip phone phone users. Android needs a way to get rid of superfluous apps,

I really like this ZTE Z320 Flip phone. I can make phone calls, text messages, check my Emails, and surf the web. I purchased a hard case for my Z320 phone, and a ZTE Cymbal T flip phone leather case to attach to my belt, and the combination works Great.
