Fell apart coming out of the bag
This knob is made from two pieces of plastic, one which pops on to the radio stem and a decorative trim piece, the circular "face" of the knob. This second piece was held on with a square if double stick tape which came off as I removed it from the bag. I tried to stick it back on and it held for less than a week, before falling off and getting lost in the car. I do not recommend.

I love it!!
Bought this to replace my not-too-old jvc head unit... installation was super easy because the wire harness from the jvc unit was exactly the same... this head unit is easily 100x better!! My phones auxiliary port stopped working and my jvc was not Bluetooth nor would it read from my Android phone... with this radio I can connect using EITHER the USB or bluetooth... and it sounds great!!

So I purchased the same Kenwood kdcx500 for my wife's jeep . My daughter wanted the same in her jeep so that's what we did I'll probably install it soon . My best stereo yet
I was totally blown away by the sound of this unit. Pantera Official Live: 101 Proof is a great album but sounds muddy without tweaking the equalizer first. Doesn't matter if it's a car stereo or home theater system. I played this album with the preset factory settings on this head unit and this CD sounded excellent. My last stereo was a Kenwood, but I was amazed at the level of sound quality with this Excelon series unit. I can't rate on ease of use for iPods and Bluetooth, whatever that is, but if you are into serious sound quality on a budget, then this stereo is for you. I also like the higher wattage pre-level amplifier outputs. Adds that much more quality to overall sound while allowing your amp to run at lower levels producing less heat and reducing overall wear on it.I was totally blown away by the sound of this unit.
