    Purchased this movie for viewing by my grandson. I watched it first to make sure it was something he would like and that it was appropriate for him as I had heard some people had thought it was not kid friendly. I did not see anything that would confirm this. He watched it on Easter Sunday and was totally engaged with the movie. There were some parts he did not understand as he is probably too young at 3 to completely grasp the concept of dying and spirits but he asked questions and I gave him age appropriate answers. I think this could be some of he issues people have with the movie. Every movie I have seen as a child has some part that could be interpreted as inappropriate depending on how you look at it. This movie was thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be watched over and over.

    Didn't know the story of the Good Dinosaur

    Disney often has a tragedy in their children's movies and most of the time the tragedy is overcome. Unfortunately, I learned to be more sensitive in the future. This was a gift for a single mother and her toddler son. The family had suffered the loss of a family member due to a flash flood. I reopened the wounds by sending a movie that started with one character drowning and ended with another character drowning (or so I was told between the tears of a distraught mother's hysteria over the phone). In the future I will always try to find out the details of a movie before giving it as a gift. My only experience with Pixar was watching Toy Story years ago with my own kids.

    Too Cute

    The characters are cute, the underlying story line terrific for kids, but I liked it regardless and I'm no kid! I love how the animation now has gotten so good the water has realistic reflection and the grass and trees move in the wind. It still looks like animation but a nice realistic feel. Highly recommend.

    Good movie for the entire family!

    This is a well animated movie which portrayed the value of a good "work ethic", (earn it by working for it!). It also possess the kind of humor that can be appreciated by the entire family from young to old. I would recommend this movie to any and all who would be interested in some good entertainment!

    Adorable movie

    This is one of the best kids movie I have sen in a long time. The colors are vibrant, the characters are adorable and the story line teaches a valuable lesson about friendship and family. My grandson and the whole family loved it.
