Worth It w/Cloning
If you've diagnosed your DME as faulty for sure, a good used one like this can easily be cloned to work for your car. Going to the dealer or those 'specialized' centers will costs hundreds or thousands more than a used DME & cloning service. In my case, my '09 BMW 328i xDrive's waterpump was.continuously running, no oil level readout, alternator constantly at 14.2v, and IBS wasn't working. Car sometimes started, sometimes didn't, and engine behavior varied. The car didn't know what gear it was in, transmission went limp mode to 2nd gear only.
