    An entertaining but badly ageing early 2000's action film.

    A classic Vin Diesel action film from the early 2000's may be entertaining but does it hold up? The answer is no. It has not aged well due to the so called futuristic spy tech that is today memories of old. Vin Diesel does his usual tough-guy acting, Samuel L Jackson is doing his recruiting and being in charge routine (before MARVEL was cool) and everyone else is forgettable. The villain is a cliché foreigner and there is the typical bad gal who becomes the love interest. The BluRay's video is a decent 1080p upgrade from the DVD but isn't a BluRay to use if you want to show off your HD TV. The BluRay's audio it is a PCM 5.1 track and is actually pretty good. The bass is decent, the talking is clear and guns/explosions are reasonably louder and sound good. All up this a decent action ...
