    These are fun. Technically "Netbooks" (ironic because the modern 'Net is the one thing the whole class can't handle), they are best understood today as a very tough, fully integrated alternative to a Raspberry Pi. You'll want a lightweight 32-bit/i586 OS such as Porteus or MX Linux, or possibly Alpine if you have more patience than me. Set the boot order in BIOS as usual but you must also choose the USB drive in the BIOS exit menu on the way out. See my other reviews for a compatible SSD.

    thanks aspen. love this computer. i know panasonic. well made machines. sad it didnt have hard drive. but we all know the drives get removed. i need to get one with some kind of windows so i can upgrade. do you know anything about the base where they go. thats the one thing never mentioned on ebay. is there any base plate for information transfer. i used igo power supply. . works perfect and i have igo lighter. if you can tell me who has hard drives for them i appreciate it. have a nice new year
