Item was listed as new and had photos showing a new, mint condition box. What I received was a heavily damaged box, to the point that the box was half open. I opened it to check the contents and while the cards where sealed, the commander was damaged while in the plastic, meaning the box had taken quite a beating. While the cardboard tokens included are not generally great, some were bent and torn. I messaged the seller about it and no response. Also took a week to ship. Do not recommended.

Transformers 2 Revenge Of The Fantastic
Movies nowadays are like fishing for a stuffed toy from a claw machine. You pay your $1.50 into the coin slot, you place your hands around the console controls, you breathe in with high expectations, and then you are rewarded with . . . NOTHING. The claw then raises back empty to it's idle position, mocking you for having wasted your hard earned money. Lately, it seems that only summertime offers great movies, and even then, they are far and few in-between. Movies like Iron-Man and Star Trek were the highlights of the last two summers. But those were simply first attempts that succeeded. First movies are different from sequels. They usually offer a new idea and take you somewhere you have not been before. Then along comes the sequel, promising you a similar experience, boasting favored ... Movies nowadays are like fishing for a stuffed toy from a claw machine. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is not your typical sequel. It does deliver you as the audience, more of what you loved about the first movie. The humor, the pathos, the action, the drama, and most of all, most importantly of all, it delivers more of the human story. Such a notion might seem funny regarding a movie based on the big money franchise from the eighties that inspired a joke by Dane Cook who said that he "wanted to name his children after Transformers . . .", and such a joke has become like an institution by many a fan and self-professed-geek. I myself watched the cartoon series and even owned a few of the toy characters from the toy line. Even I have dreams from time to time about playing with them as if I were ten years old again. But those dreams are gone right now, just like the toys I once owned, and the movies are now here, and they R-O-C-K. The opening of TF2:RotF is the stuff I dreamed of as a kid. The cartoons of my youth were never enough. I always wanted to see a "real" Optimus Prime. The first movie delivered that in spades. Now we find that the humans and the Autobots are working together to hunt down a growing Decepticon menace. It is big and bold and full of cartoon imagination made very real by the vision of Michael Bay, who prior to The Island, was the brunt of many jibes and laughs by myself and over-opinionated media critics who think they know what we like. I have long since eaten my words (with a grain of salt) about Michael Bay. I won't say anything more about the plot of this movie, just in case you haven't seen the movie, and if you have seen it prior to this, then go watch the film again once you have the copy in your hands. It has everyone back from the first movie, and the story is larger and more all-encompassing of the things that we as audiences crave from a modern movie. We want to laugh, we want to feel the plights of the characters, and above all, we want to go to another place where what we see can rise above our daily expectations. Just Like the Rise of the Fallen.

Without wanting to offend too many people, I will say, I cannot stand Michael Bay. I think he's a sell-out who doesn't care about the Transformers fans. Yes, the movie looked good with lots of good effects; but the story, like the last, had gaping holes in it for me. Mind you, I am a girl and wasn't big into Transformers as a kid, but holes are holes. I don't even need to know the history to know things didn't make sense. Thus, I can completely understand why my husband and other real fans would have been disappointed. small SPOILER ALERT: The girl "robot" looked like something from Terminator not Transformers. She had flesh, how does that transform? The twin robots were offensive in many ways. I know if I were black, I would have been offended at the stereotypical garbage that was ... As a parent, who would have brought my son if he'd been older, I am offended by the fact that they were using unnecessarily vulgar language. Okay, now here's some of my personal beef: I CANNOT STAND action movies that try to be love stories (aka Speed). If my life is in danger and I've just been through hell, I'm not making caddy jokes at the end about love or anything else for that matter. If I'm there with my parents and a girl who I can't even tell I love you, guess who I care about at the end? My parents. I mean it's pretty obvious by the fact that he wouldn't let his dad come because he didn't want him to get hurt but he tells her, yeah come on. I also don't like set-ups, like the one with John Turturro making a big deal about going to the pyramid for no reason other than to set up for the line about robot scrotum. On a POSITIVE NOTE: There were funny moments. The "I'm not talking to you for 10 seconds" thing was good. I wish the guy tagging along would have been more comical. As it was, there wasn't a lot of reason for him to be there. I guess the biggest pro for me is Bumblebee, though my husband didn't like that he's treated like a pet. Optimus Prime's pretty B.A. too. The first movie was arguably the one of the best science fiction fantasy movies of 2007. Everything clicked in the first one. I thought the follow up would be just as good and was I ever wrong. Revenge of the Fallen was just that a character called the Fallen is introduced as Megatron's master & decides now is the time to take over. They missed the target on this one. Too much toilet, bathroom and pointless vulgar language and humor to start off..characters that were just plain stupid...Autobots that had no name and had ghetto humor.Robots that were not even part of the TV series...boy what went wrong here (everything basically)... I cant believe just how bad this was..Fallen is the key word...Fallen from the great heights from the first picture to this lousy sequel. I have no idea what ... I have no idea what made Michael Bay decide to go for bathroom humor, closeups of a man's fatty butt, a character walking around with his pants down , endless scenes of Megan Fox' boobie cleavage, and a pointless "I love you" subplot that went nowhere at all. I mean really, if you love someone tell them - don't play the battle of wills. Is that how Bay sees relationships - who gives in to who ? Do you wait until someone dies until you say 'I love you I need you' and endless pour your heart out dribble ? Bleck !! This was also overlong running at 2 1/2 hours with endless scenes of the cast running around Egypt looking for signs to find the Matrix of Leadership (which in the cartoon Optimus already has this in his chest) I was waiting for a Transformer Mummy to come out. Take the worst out of the Mummy Series and National Treasure & National Lampoon them with robots and this is what you get.. The action was okay - good, but explosions , SPFX , more robots with 'cool' (uncool) dialog do not replace a movie filled with holes, lousy toilet humor and just utter tedium in Egypt.... On top of that Rainn Wilsons parents were everything out of a nightmare. What kind of parents are these two ? Who came up with their asinine lines. The mother was just horrible with her dialog. And they kept popping up out of nowhere as did characters - just popping up out of nowhere, half the time I was asking where did this person come from...this made me want to watch the cartoon which at least were classier than this and had a more serious tone than this.. As much as I like Transformers & being a fan for over 2 decades this movie was a car wreck..this would make a great Rifftrax or Cinematic Titanic title (for those who are MST3K fans) It really was that bad, and yet, you really want to root for Optimus Prime, you want to like him, but the film wont let you. Or you will like Prime but nothing else. I know Transformers 3 is in the works..I hope Michael Bay & company decide to re-watch the first one to see that formula. For those that did like it and want to own it , the 2 disc is the way to go as it has all the bonus features. Ill be questioning your sanity however :-)

I thought this movie was absolutely hilarious!!! Ok sure they botched a couple things like the true power of the matrix of leadership. In the cartoon it had the power to cure the entire universe of the hate plague yet in the movie can't even heal optimus all the way. Also how rampage is in two places at once? He is fighting bumblebee and yet is supposed to be the left leg of devastator (who is tearing down a pyramid at the same time as rampage is fighting bumblebee)um...yea....how does that work? The movie also explains prime's ancestors, the 7 primes. No place in any episode of any saga explains who came before optimus prime. That and it shows who came before megatron, although the true megatron bowed down to no-one with the exception of unicron, but whole other movie. My friend told me ... My friend told me that the first movie barely dodged a rated r rating, which after seeing this movie I believe this one barely dodged the r rating not the first. The only shocker I got was the fact that people were bringing their little kids to this movie. Ok if you've seen the first...that one had a couple questionable moments for kids to be watching, do you honestly think the second one was going to be any better? This is the more adult version of transformers. Made for the original generation that watched it and the youngest('84), that possibly remembers the original series on t.v.(like me.) So if your kids are wanting to go see this film, make sure they are at least 12 before going to see this one.

Are you kidding me again? This had me crying for real. This is another great movie. This one blew me away too. I had to buy this one too. I knew this one had to be as good if not better than the first one. Wow. Awesome. Just talking about this movie is making me want to go watch both. The special effects are utterly amazing. I don't nrmally like these kind of movies but these Transformer movies are out of this world. They just take me out of reality for a couple hours and that helps me alot. I'm like a 10 year old again and I'm 47. My husband is 66 and we both love this movie. All I have to say is "Transformer Time!!!" and the lights go off, the phones get shut off, the dog gets let out for a few minutes, the door goes unanswered if anyone knocks and we get a snack and a soda and watch ... Are you kidding me again? This had me crying for real. This is another great movie. This one blew me away too. I had to buy this one too.
