    Bought this to use for a portable lightweight astrophotography setup and it's doing a great job. The thicker legs keep it steady and I only extended one section to help even more. The leg locks are easy and quick to use and there's "rails" inside the legs to keep them from twisting when you are moving the leg locks. Very happy with the tripod. The bag is even large enough that I can leave my wedge mounted on the tripod. It's a tight fit, but it fits.

      Great for landscape or sky photography

      Material dampens vibrations from wind during long exposures. Very stable and easily adjustable legs and large, 40mm, ball head attain the perspective of landscape and or sky you're looking for. No need for a center column.
