I used these solid wood red oak runners to add to the existing legs of an armchair and create a nursery rocker. I was able to complete it myself as a (7 months pregnant) amateur in a couple of hours. I used a spade bit and drilled some holes to fit the legs, inserted the legs, screwed them in place from the bottom, and used wood glue just in case. Then poly'd it with 1 coat. The finished rocker looks amazing in the nursery. Wish I could upload a photo here.
