(I was a little surprised that it arrived without a body cap, but the item description didn't show one, so I guess I should have expected that. It was packaged well with plastic, and there was no dust on the mirror or sensor, so no harm done. But as constructive feedback, it would probably be good to include that relatively inexpensive accessory to protect the delicate parts inside.)

    Great product, Great Price!

    These headphones have a clear crisp sound. Decent bass response and very comfortable. For the price to be under $40 (average price) these are definitely worth the investment. I use these when I do instrument recording and they are perfect. Long headphone cord that is only on one headphone makes it very convenient.

    Too Much Bass

    Presonus makes good stuff. These headphones feel great on your head. Seal well and provide good isolation. Strong solid construction that is flexible and adjustable for a good fit. Unfortunately they do provide a flat transparent sound. Studio Mixing Headphones should not be "enhancing" any frequencies. There is a significant BASS Boost with the HD-7 headphones. I now have three of the headphone sets. They will work well for a musician tracking guitar or vocals but not for mixing entire songs.

    Great sound, but...

    ... Easily the least comfortable pair of headphones I've ever worn. I would give these 3.5 stars. I bought these for mixing, but they sound fantastic for general listening. However, they make a very tight seal around the ear (this must help or isolation) and I found my ears getting sweaty pretty quickly. I would recommend them for quality/price value, but if comfort is very important, you may want to look at something else.
