    That's a lot of sound for a small package.

    After many years, my Nokia flatscreen monitor with built in speakers died, or at least it's backlight did. I got a cool new HP pivot monitor, and it was great... except the sound. It was so bad I left the Nokia hooked up just for the speakers. I needed something better than that. I found the Philips MMS 321 speaker system just be looking for speakers on E-Bay. They seemed cool. 80Wats is more than enough to sit in front of I figured. I got a great deal on an Open Box set on Ebay, and all I can say is WOW!!! For a system with out surround sound these little speakers ROCK!!!! They have great clarity and the Bass in great without annoying you like a hommies Car passing out side. If you want simple stereo playback that will do your MP3's justice and make flinch from your GTA gunshots, ...

    Had HIGH Expections for These, But Yea...

    Well these speakers does indeed do more than any other 2.0 speaker set can do. But it is NO...NO replacement for a 2.1 Stereo system, i had read reviews saying you can hear the Bass in other rooms....NO..you can hear Crisp clean music in other rooms but pretty much No Bass. Now don't get me wrong, i wasn't expecting organ transplant rumbling BASS, but these promised more than a simple Bump, but doesn't deliver. If your a Techno/Dubstep/County/Rock kinda person than you will be amazed, i gotta admit, but seeing I'm also Screamo/Heavy Metal/Rap/Hip-Hop kinda guy, i was disapointed. Decent Bass just wasn't there, so it wasn't the best setup for me....guess i will save up for a Logitech 2.1 or 5.1 System, now that's BASS. So in conclusion, if you want more bump than those crappy "Dell" or ...

    Small speakers, BIG sound !!

    The phillips ms321 speakers are a great sounding speaker for 2.0 audio. Very stylish aluminium face with black plastic back, two aluminium mid range cones as well as the rectangular bass and small tweeter. Set comes with plenty of cable length for spacing out the pair. Overall the ms321 are well made, and with the complete absence of replacement parts through phillips this is a comfort. I have two sets, 2x2 on either sides of my monitor wired through a audio splitter. And because these sets have a seperate power supply/amplifier they won't draw power from your audio card/onboard audio. When i have them at half volume i can feel the bass vibrating the floor below my desk. Given the room my pc resides in is not very large (20'x14') the speakers seem to project sound through the room.

    Philips MMS 321 Computer Speakers

    Apparently, these speakers had some sort of issue that caused them to fail, because I bought a pair of the many refurbished sets that were available to replace my original. These speakers have incredibly good sound and outperform many of the more expensive models. That is the reason for purchasing another set of the same model. I have my old set in the closet just in case I find someone who can make the necessary repairs. I am well pleased with this product.

    Philips MMS 321 2 Speakers

    Good sounding speakers for the money. Bass without a sub-woofer, but they do "walk" on whatever surface you place them on if you play them loud. These are, were, the second set that I bought. Unfortunately, I thought they were new, my fault, I misread the discription. They were so dirty when I got them that I threw them into the trash. My fault, I need to read the item discription more closely.
