    This is a quality made product that works exactly as described, waters the tree in a controlled way. A strong zipper makes setting it up around the tree trunk easy, then put a hose in the top to fill it with 15 gallons of water. Pull the hose out and the bag waters the tree & surrounding area over time.

    Works, time/water saver but not perfect

    Easy to use, good quality, great price, does what it's supposed to do. A couple of caveats - the bag doesn't drain completely, leaving about 2 gallons wasted, won't fit newer trees with low branches (use the doughnut style for this application), have to re-adjust bad as it tends to lean heavily on the branch as it is filled. I also read other reviews that recommend removing from the tree every week or two to allow light to reach the trunk.

    Before I purchased this product, I read a few reviews. All of them where helpful even the negative ones. Everybody needs one opportunity, so I gave it to DeWitt. Now, I am glad I did.     slow release

    Most of the time the bags do not release water at all so I have to put hole in the bottom but not just once. Each time I water I have to repeat the process. I will continue to use them though because you can monitor the amount of water so easily and the slow release is just what my pecan trees need. Darrell Westfall

    DeWitt is our favorite brand

    We first learned of these when a landscaper planted trees for us and furnished DeWitt bags. Since then, we have moved and recently had 32 trees planted. We now have enough DeWitt watering bags for 18 trees which takes care of them during periods when it does not rain.

    Tree watering bags at a very good price. I was looking to only buy 1 bag for a new tree and ended up buying 4 bags for all my small trees. The zipper is good quality and seems to last. The bag holds at least 20 gallons.
