    Modern Architecture: Kenneth Frampton 2007

    The book is very thorough in demonstrating many examples of modern architecture, it also shows detailed diagrams of the architecture. If you need this for a class, i highly recommend this, because it is not too extensive on information, it gives the important facts without diluting it with unnecessary information.
