    This is a MUST HAVE movie in your War Collection

    This movie was historically pretty good. There is a lot of aerial action footage. I've rated this 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the movie overlooked the contribution of Squadron 303, Poland. It's still hard to believe so few managed to hold off the numerical superiority of the Germans. The only mention of the Poles was when Dowding said, "I was wrong about the Poles"

    A Classic worth revisiting

    All star cast including the young and beautiful Susannah York, fresh from a career turn in Killing of Sister George, Sir Lawrence Olivier, Christopher Plummer, Trevor Howard, Harry Andrews, Robert Shaw and many many more. A real epic which holds up well after all these years. This Collectors' Edition has interesting interviews and extra bits which are of great value to WWII history buffs.
