    Depends on how you use it -- great at portability -- fair at fixed service

    This is a mobile hotspot and like most mobile hotspots it is optimized around mobility. I have a Sprint data service with lots of GB so I use it mostly as a fixed hotspot. It is usually quite good. The first one burned up its battery because we left it on perpetual charge. Prevent this by letting the battery run down and charge up. An ease fix and things seem to be fine so far. Consider buying two of them and keeping one as a live backup instead of buying Sprint's hardware service. Make sure you check the long distance option in WiFi settings.
