    It works, but only as a primary remote. I couldn't get it to work as a secondary.

    This is very close to the remote that came with my new Directv service...but it is a bit different. The differences are cosmetic. It does not have the surface texture on the backside as does the original. This makes it a bit less grippy. Also, there is not a white circle around the app button. Does any of that matter? Probably not. After trying to pair it as second remote numerous times, I was unsuccessful. However, when I unpaired the original remote and paired the new one, it worked fine. I am not sure if you can have two remotes on the Gemini system. Overall, it is a good deal for the money. The photos below show the remote I received on the Left and the original one on the Right.

    Wish it was redesigned but only one for the Genesis.....tooooo bad

    It is black so hard to find in dark. Lights up but not long enough. Buttons are confusing.
